In the first Test match in Visakhapatnam, India defeated South Africa by 203 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-Test series.
South Africa's batsmen were bowled out for 191 in an attempt to crush the target of 395 on the final day.
South Africa lost 8 wickets for 70 runs at one time. However, Dane Pedit scored 56 runs and Senuran Muttuswamy scored 49 runs not out.
Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was the hero of the final day of the match. Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan holds the record for fastest 350 wickets.
Like Muralitharan, Ashwin took 350th wicket in his 66th Test.

India set a target of 395 runs for South Africa in the second innings.

India declared their second innings after scoring 323 runs for 4 wickets.
Rohit Sharma is two centuries
Rohit Sharma, once again the hero of the innings, scored his second century with 127 runs.
Rohit Sharma became the first batsman to score a century in two innings in the first Test in the 144-year-old's history of Test cricket.
He also became the second batsman to score two innings in a Test match after Sunil Gavaskar.
After the second innings, India took a 394-run lead. Chateshwar Pujara scored 81 runs.
Ravindra Jadeja took three wickets in the same over. Opener Aiden Markram (39), Vernon Philander (0) and Keshav Maharaj (0) for the fourth ball took Jadeja's first ball into the 27th over.
South Africa's second innings began with Temba Bouma (10), Captain Duplessis (13) and wicketkeeper Quintan Dickock (0).
Mohammed Shami, who was dismissed for the second wicket with Pidit (56) and Rabada (18), gave India a win.
Ravindra Jadeja took four wickets while Ashwin took one wicket.
Rohit was named man of the match for his total of 303 runs.
